FAQs
Q: How can I be sure the ashes I receive are my pet’s?
A: At Pet Peace, we follow a strict process to ensure every family receives only their pet’s ashes. Each pet in our care is assigned a unique identification code and their own individual profile, where all records are carefully stored. Our team documents every step — from the time we collect your pet, through the cremation process, to the completion and ashes handover. We also note your pet’s condition upon arrival. With these safeguards in place, we can confidently guarantee that the ashes returned to you belong solely to your beloved companion.
Q: How long does the whole process take?
A: The process usually takes around 5–7 days from the day we collect your pet (unless you request a final viewing ceremony or same-day delivery service). If you choose a final viewing ceremony, the timeline will be counted from the day of the ceremony itself. Even after the cremation is completed, our team carries out careful internal documentation and a full review of your pet’s profile. Our management team will check everything to ensure your chosen package is complete and accurate. We kindly ask for your patience, as this process allows us to guarantee a 100% respectful and perfect experience for you and your beloved pet.
Q: What happens after I make the payment online?
A: Once your payment has been received, we will send our client form to the mobile number you provided in your order. Please kindly complete the form so we can arrange the services for you. After we receive your details, our friendly team will contact you to guide you through the next steps. If you don’t receive the form, simply give us a call or leave us a message, and we will resend it to you straight away.
Q: Will I receive all of my pet’s ashes?
A: Yes, absolutely. Because your pet is individually cremated, you will receive only your pet’s ashes. Our team carefully collects and returns all of your pet’s remains to you.
The total weight of ashes can vary depending on factors such as your pet’s bone structure, size, and the cremation process itself. On average, ashes are usually a few percent of your pet’s living weight. If your pet was overweight, the amount of ashes will be similar to other pets of the same species and size, since ashes mainly come from bone rather than body fat. Please know that every variation is normal and expected — we make sure you receive all of your beloved companion’s remains with dignity and care.
Q: Will you wash my pet?
A: We understand how important it is for families to see their pet at peace. If you are attending a final viewing ceremony and your pet is in suitable condition, our team will gently use wet wipes to clean their body. We only carry out a full wash if you specifically request it, and if your pet’s condition allows — for example, if there is dirt or blood that needs to be cleaned. Unfortunately, we are unable to wash pets who are in a frozen state, but we will still ensure they are presented with care and dignity.
Q: If I don’t want the ashes to be returned, what will you do?
A: If you prefer not to have your pet’s ashes returned for personal reasons, we can respectfully take care of this for you. In such cases, our team will gently scatter the ashes in our gardens, ensuring your beloved companion is laid to rest with dignity and care.
